La Fiera Mezcal tasting is unique learning and sensorial experience in Mexico City, hosted in our home in the heart of the lovely Coyoacán Neighborhood, a must visit place while visiting the city.
MEZCAL:
Tasting consists of 6 artisanal-made mezcales (1 oz per cup) from small-batch producers in the state of Guerrero.
We will experience joven mezcales from different producers, as well as "curados", which are mezcal infused with different ingredients such as insects, herbs, or fruits, alongside other classifications of mezcal that include unique samples of our family collection of spirits.
As a mezcal promoters, we search around the state to find these hidden treasures in the North, Center, and Mountain regions, enriching the mezcal cava collection that you will have the opportunity to taste.
FOOD:
To complement the tasting experience, we will provide a tasting plate with various snacks. By pairing the mezcals with different ingredients from the plate, you will gain a deeper understanding of the interaction between mezcal and food. All the snacks and entrées will be locally sourced and seasonal, showcasing the flavors of Guerrero. Many of these recipes have been passed down through generations, and we ensure that all the ingredients are fresh and directly sourced from the state's markets.

PREPARATION:
For the day of the tasting, avoid using perfumes, scented lotion, scented sunscreen (if possible) in hands and forearms, scented lipsticks/lip balms as well.
IN THE HOUSE:
We have a shoes-off policy to our comfy living room. You can bring your socks or slippers. We can provide slippers here as well.

There are NO walk in's. Bookings throug our plattform are the only way to book service, and for us to be ready and prepared. We will only host for you and your group. Take this in consideration when booking.

We have a friendly outdoors cat that comes to eat. He is not in the room with us for your comfort but if there's any allergy to cats among the guests, please let us know and we can take extra precautions.
NON-DRINKERS
Non-drinkers are welcome to participate in the experience. If any member of your group doesn't consume alcohol, they can join us and savor the snacks and food with a special fee. Just select a number of tickets for this option.
We appreciate your interest in our services. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, necessitating cancellations. Below, we outline our cancellation policy:
Cancellations with advance notice: If you decide to cancel your reservation with at least 1 week's notice, we will refund 80% of the total amount, minus the commission charged by Rezgo.
Cancellation up to three days before the service date: In the event of a cancellation made from 6 up to three days before the service date, a refund of 50% of the total amount will be issued, minus the commission charged by Rezgo.
Cancellation within 48 hours and on the day of the service date: After this period, no refund will be issued.
No show: Failure to notify and non-appearance for the scheduled reservation without prior notice will result in the retention of the total amount of the reservation as a cancellation fee.
Date changes: We are open to considering date changes based on availability. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss the possibility and details.

We are located in the lovely heart of the Coyoacán Neighborhood, a must-visit place during your stay in Mexico City. A neighborhood that has restaurants, cantinas, Mexican handicraft markets, beautiful colonial, contemporary, and modern architecture. The perfect "cultural pairing" before or after the tasting could be visiting the Frida Kahlo Casa Azul Museum, located 15 minutes walking from our house. Be sure to purchase your tickets in advance to avoid waiting in lines. For example, you could book the tasting at 1:00 pm and your museum tickets at 4:30 pm, and you are all set.
